Jonny Fielding has had a fantastic career in local league cricket. After leaving Rammy in the early 90s, Trigger spent time in and around a very strong Lancashire set up, before enjoying a number of successful pro-ing stints across the county. He returned to his beloved Acre Bottom in 2010 and led his team to a first title in just under 20 years, amassing 100 Lancashire League wickets in successive seasons. Spurred on by the pleasure of sharing the field with his two sons, Brad and JJ, the knees might not be what they once were but the desire remains untainted. Lets hope there's many more overs left in the tank. Join us for a chat with a hugely popular figure and one of the greatest players Ramsbottom has ever produced.
We are delighted to welcome former Australian batsmen, Brad Hodge to The8pod. Brad enjoyed a fantastic first class career across all formats, amassing 17,000 runs at an average of 48. With a test match double century to his name, he's widely considered unfortunate to have only worn the Baggy Green six times. He also enjoyed two dominant campaigns with Rammy in the early 2000s, regularly demolishing attacks to all parts of the ground, culminating in a Worsley Cup triumph in 2001. Join us for some fantastic stories about days gone by, and the odd name you might recognise.

This week we welcome current Rammy Senior coach and former hard-hitting batsmen, Brian Taylor to The8pod. Brian sat down with us to discuss all of this and more.
This week we welcome a very special guest to The8pod. Former Australian captain, Michael Clarke describes him as the best captain he ever played under. Tune in to find out whether that was on the pitch or off it.

Join us for a fascinating chat with Lee about great memories from his Rammy days, life as a seamer in an ever evolving game and a plug for a legendary Bury nightclub.
In this week's instalment of The8pod we welcome former club captain, Tom Parton. Well set to break numerous club records with bat and gloves, Tom has already enjoyed a stellar career despite his young age. Tune in for cracking tales from recent Rammy history, including a classic Worsley Cup contest.
